seit circa drei Jahrzehnten in Privatbesitz, Süddeutschland.
Description
Der Brandstempel verso auf der Leinwand mit den Initialen “GG” und der großherzoglichen Krone belegt, dass sich das Bild einst in der Sammlung von Gian Gastone de’ Medici (1671–1737), des letzten Großherzogs der Toskana im männlichen Stamm (Regierungszeit von 1723 –1737), befand. Zusätzlich ist die alte Inventar Nummer 383 aufgemalt, doch existiert kein Sammlungsverzeichnis von Gian Gastones Sammlung. Es hat sich der originale Spannrahmen und Bilderrahmen mit handgeschmiedetem Aufhängungshaken erhalten – dies ist sehr selten.
