Watercolour, charcoal and Indian Ink on machine-made laid paper by Sessites Mill. 1946. C. 32 x 48 cm (sheetsize). Signed at the lower left. Dated “July 22nd, 1946” at the lower right and titled (probably later) at the lower right margin.
Achim Moeller, director of the Lyonel Feininger Project LLC, New York – Berlin, confirms the authenticity of this work which is registered in the Lyonel Feininger Project’s archive under the number 1552-11-14-18. The work is accompanied by a photo certificate dated 21.8.2018.

Description

Blattkanten umlaufend mit Montierungsband, dort minimalst wellig. Im Passepartoutausschnitt minimal gebräunt bzw. insgesamt lichtrandig. Minimal fleckig, kaum stockfleckig. Nadellöchlein in den Ecken. Verso Reste von alter Montierung und Klebespuren. Sonst schön.
