Description
Entwurf für das Poster zum Mozart Festival, das 1972 im Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York stattfand. Die Werke des Minimal-Art-Künstlers McCracken charakterisieren sich durch eine Reduzierung auf einfache geometrische Formen und Flächen in leuchtenden monochromen Farben. McCrackens Arbeiten werden seit den 1960er Jahren regelmäßig in den USA und Europa ausgestellt. Einige seiner Werke wurden 2007 auf der documenta 12 in Kassel gezeigt. – Linke obere Ecke mit leichter Knickspur, sonst gut erhalten.
