Description
Mit dem gedruckten Namen des Druckers “Imp. Lemercier & Cie., Paris”. Manet schuf die Lithographie nach seinem Gemälde‚ Berthe Morisot au bouquet de violettes‘ von 1872. Die Auflage wurde erst 1884, ein Jahr nach dem Tod des Künstlers, auf Wunsch der Witwe Suzanne in einer Höhe von 50 Exemplaren vom Drucker Lemercier gedruckt. Suzanne verkaufte diese zwischen 1886 und 1889, um für ihre Lebenshaltungskosten aufzukommen. – Vereinzelt winzige Fleckchen. Altersgemäß in sehr gutem Zustand.
