Description
In den Jahren 1910/1911 malt Corinth drei großformatige Jagdstillleben mit verschiedenen erlegten Vögeln (vgl. Berend-Corinth 442, 443 und 463). Diese Studie könnte als Vorbereitung für das “Große Stillleben mit Figur, Geburtstagsbild” von 1911 gedient haben. Papier schwach lichtrandig, leicht unfrisch und fleckig, im unteren Bereich diagonale geglättete Knickspur, rechts oben kleiner Einriss, schwach griffknickig, verso alte Montierungsreste, sonst in guter Erhaltung.
