Description
Prachtvoller, transparenter und präziser Lebzeitenabzug. Mit dem für diesen Zustand gefragten Wz. Das Kinn unterhalb des linken Ohrs ist jetzt klar definiert. Teilweise mit einem feinen Rändchen um die Plattenkante, unten links, unten sowie mottig rechts leicht innerhalb dieser geschnitten. Rembrandt stellt sich in dieser Radierung in einem reichen Gewand und mit einem federgeschmückten Barett auf dem Haupt dar. Die Frontalansicht dürfte das Aussehen des damals 32 Jahre alten Künstlers recht ähnlich wiedergegeben haben. – Mit drei kaum wahrnehmbaren, winzigen Braunfleckchen, ansonsten altersgemäß sehr gut erhalten. Selten so schön!
