Description
Das malerisch und koloristisch ansprechende Aquarell geht zurück auf Kleins 1845 entstandener Radierung “Bei Brannenburg am Inn” (Jahn 343), die Teil einer Sammlung von hundert Radierungen Kleins ist, die 1844 von C. H. Zehschen Kunsthandlung in Nürnberg heftweise herausgegeben wurde und einige später gelieferte Radierungen enthielt. Für sein Aquarell hat Klein die Radierung in Gegenrichtung wörtlich übernommen, aber noch um einige erzählerische Details wie den Spitz im Vordergrund oder den pflügenden Bauern im Hintergrund bereichert. – An den Rändern leicht gebräunt, sonst gut erhalten.
