Description
SchilIing nennt 6 Güsse, davon 3 Nachlassgüsse. In einer geschlossenen, runden Form führt Mataré das kleine liegende Kälbchen aus und konzentriert sich in seiner abstrahierten Ausführung auf das Wesentliche. Die gebogene Form lädt den Betrachter nahezu ein, die Bronze in die Hand zu nehmen, um sie von allen Seiten zu betrachten und sie auch haptisch zu erfassen. – Mit kleineren Unregelmäßigkeiten in der Patina. Mit minimalen Gebrauch- und Handhabungsspuren. Kaum merkliche winzige Dellen. Sonst in schöner Erhaltung.
