Winterlandschaft bei Mondschein

Das Blatt ist noch ganz vom Geist der Dresdner Romantik erfüllt und von ganz eigenem poetischen Reiz. Es ist, als zöge Goethes Erlkönig durch die winterliche Mondscheinlandschaft voller kahler Bäume. Der gebürtige Schlesier Gustav Adolf Boenisch kam 1825 nach Dresden, wo er den Nestor der Dresdner Romantik, Caspar David Friedrich, und Johann Clausen Dahl kennenlernte. In ihrem Bann steht seine geheimnisumwitterte Winterlandschaft, die nur vom schwachen Licht des von Wolken verschleierten Monds beleuchtet wird. Es ist eine stimmungsvolle Szenerie, die auch die Kenntnis der Werke Carl Gustav Carus‘ nicht verleugnet. – Im Passepartoutausschnitt kaum merklich nachgedunkelt, linke untere Ecke hinterlegt. Vereinzelt minimale Mängel an den Kanten. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
