Terrasse auf Ischia
Description
Eine stilistisch und motivisch vergleichbare Ölstudie befand sich zuletzt in der Villa Grisebach, Berlin (Auktion 237, 3.6.2015, Los 156), dort dem westfälischen Genre- und Porträtmaler Theobald Reinhold von Oer (1807-1885) zugeschrieben. Von Oer hatte 1837-39 eine Italienreise unternommen, die ihn im Sommer 1838 auch nach Capri und Ischia geführt hatte. Unsere kleine Ölstudie fasst das Motiv, auf dem im Hintergrund ebenfalls der Monte Epomeo sichtbar ist, zwar enger, ausschnitthafter auf, doch ist es in der skizzenhaften, malerischen Ausfertigung so ähnlich, dass es sich ebenfalls um ein Werk von Oers handeln könnte.
