Description
Thomas Bayrle verwebt dünne Papierstreifen zu einem feinen Gewebe. Die Streifen sind asphaltgrau und durch den charakteristischen Mittelstreifen klar als Fahrbahnen erkennbar. Zarte Farbfelder in Rot, Blau und Gelb zeigen Autos von oben. Im Titel verweist Thomas Bayrle auf die Inspirationsquelle für diese konstruktivistisch beeinflusste Komposition. Sein Geflecht ist nach einer Komposition Mondrians von 1936 entstanden, die Autos sind in den für den de Stijl-Künstler charakteristischen Komplementärfarben ausgeführt. Bayrles Faszination für urbane Strukturen und Verkehrsströme verbindet sich mit Mondrians klaren Gestaltungsprinzipien. – Sehr guter Zustand.
