Bronze mit bräunlicher Patina. (1929/30). Ca. 14 x 30 x 9,5 cm (mit Plinthe). Eines von 35 nummerierten, braun patinierten Exemplaren. Mit eingeritzter Signatur auf der Oberseite der Plinthe und dem rautenförmigen Gießerstempel “A. Valsuani cire perdue” auf der hinteren Seite der Plinthe.

Description

Max Ernst schuf die einzelnen Figuren der Skulptur bereits 1929/30 und autorisierte Anfang der 1970er Jahre die “Societé de Diffusion d’Œuvres Plastiques et Multiples” in Paris, hierzu eine Bronzeskulptur zu erstellen. Die Skulptur wurde von Valsuani Fondeur, Paris, gegossen. – In gutem Zustand.
