Description
Marie-Thérèse de Habsbourg (1638-1683), Tochter von Philipp IV. von Spanien, heiratete 1660 Ludwig XIV. von Frankreich. Um diesen Zeitpunkt dürfte vorliegendes Porträt entstanden sein, das die junge Königin im perlengeschmückten Kleid und hermelinbesetzten Lilienmantel zeigt. Von dem Bildnis existieren mehrere Stiche, u.a. von N. de Larmessin, N. de Poilly I., Jean Gole und Antoine Masson.
