Description
Der vorliegende Guss ist laut der Familie des Künstlers wohl um 1945 entstanden, möglicherweise noch vor de Fioris Tod. Das Stukko zur Bronze der ‘Barbara’ war wohl die einzige Figur, die de Fiori 1936 bei seiner Emigration in seinem Gepäck mit nach Brasilien brachte. Bei der Dargestellten handelt es sich um die Sängerin Barbara Diu, der dritten Ehefrau des Künstlers (1927-1932). – Kaum merklich berieben, sonst in sehr guter Erhaltung.
