Description
Feines, in klassizistischem Stil gemaltes Bild der Artemisia, Gattin und Schwester des Mausolos. Nach dessen Tod wird sie Herrscherin über Karien und Rhodos. In ihrer Linken umfasst sie den Kelch, in dem sie die Asche ihres Mannes zu einem Trank mischen wird.
