Description
Die “Bumper”-Rakete ist eine Kombination aus der deutschen V2 Rakete und der Höhenforschungsrakete “WAC Corporal”. Entwickelt vom amerikanischen Militär stellten diese Raketen 1949 einen neuen Höhen- (393 km) und 1950 Geschwindigkeitsrekord (5260 km/h) auf.
