Description
Horst Kuhnert wurde 1939 in Schweidnitz geboren und studierte an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart. Anfänglich mit der abstrakten Malerei auseinandersetzend, begann er sich in den frühen 1960er Jahren mit plastischen Arbeiten zu beschäftigen. Er entwickelte ein Konzept “von der Fläche in den Raum”, die er in seinen Polyesterreliefs umsetzte.
