Description
1996 inszenierte Ermanno Olmi Verdis Oper “Otello” für die Salzburger Osterfestspiele. Anlässlich dieser Neuinszenierung griff Lüpertz das Thema der grundlosen Eifersucht und die Tragödie um Desdemona auf und schuf einen eigenen Werkzyklus. Gezeigt wurden diese Werke ebenfalls 1996 in der Galerie Thaddeus Ropac in Salzburg. – Von guter Erhaltung.
