Description
In Malis späten Werken spielt das Licht eine besondere Rolle. Die Sonnenstrahlen steifen gerade noch das Fell der Tiere im Vordergrund und tauchen die Szenerie in ein gleißendes, kühles Licht. Unterdessen ziehen im Hintergrund dunkle Wolken herauf, die ein Spannungsfeld zum hellen Vordergrund bilden.
