Description
Der furios gemalte Entwurf zu einem ovalen Deckenbild diente dem Künstler zur Erprobung von Komposition, Farb- und Lichtdisposition. Ganz im Sinne des barocken Illusionismus werden die Grenzen zwischen Bild und Rahmung durch die überhängenden Wolken und Gliedmaßen der gefallenen Engel verschleiert.
