Farbiger Holzschnitt auf Japan. (1914). Ca. 24 : 20 cm (Blattgröße ca. 49,5 : 35 cm). Eines von 25 Exemplaren der Vorzugsausgabe. Verso mit dem Stempel “Handdruck vom Originalholzstock bestätigt” (Lugt 1782 b) und von Maria Marc, der Witwe des Künstlers, signiert. Zusätzlich vom Drucker Fritz Voigt signiert unten links.

Description

Blatt 5 aus der Folge “Die Erste Mappe”, herausgegeben vom Verlag der Dichtung/Gustav Kiepenheuer, Potsdam 1921, mit dem von Lyonel Feininger entworfenen Trockenstempel des Verlags der Dichtung unten links. Kaum merkliche, fachmännisch restaurierte Stelle unterhalb der Darstellung, im Passepartoutausschnitt schwach nachgedunkelt. Sonst in sehr schönem Zustand.
