Description
Im Jahre 1846 reiste Schleich mit den Künstlerkollegen Carl Spitzweg und Bernhard Stange über Salzburg nach Trient und Verona, vermutlich mit einer Station am Chiemsee. Die dort gesammelten Eindrücke verarbeitete er hier im gestreckten “Handtuchformat” in einer ausdrucksvollen Komposition, deren Reiz besonders in der Haptik des Farbauftrags liegt.
