Description

Auch wenn Lebourg in erster Linie als Landschaftsmaler tätig war, entstanden zahlreiche Blumenstillleben von seiner Hand. Meist stellte er Rosen dar, immer wieder in einem Glaspokal, über dem sich die opulenten Blütenköpfe prächtig entfalten. Dabei verleiht Lebourg durch seinen impressionistischen Duktus nicht nur den Blumen, sondern der gesamten Bildfläche eine vibrierende Bewegung.
