Description
Entstanden während des ersten Aufenthaltes des Künstlers in Rom. Die Zeichnung diente Klenze später als Vorlage für den Hintergrund des Titelblattentwurfs “Antike Fragmente” (München, Staatliche Graphische Sammlung, Inv. Nr. 27.834), vgl. Katalog “Ein griechischer Traum”, Glyptothek, München 1985, Nr. 107 mit Abb. auf S. 334. – Geringfügig knittrig, oberer Rand verso mit Spuren alter Montierung, sonst gut erhalten.
