Description
Faszinierend feinteilige Miniaturarbeit, nach einem Kupferstich von Claesz Jansz Visscher I. aus dem Jahr 1612 (vgl. Hollstein 265). In Ausführung und Komposition von sicherer Meisterhand, mit einer schmalen Einfassungslinie in Gold. Beeindruckend auch das facettenreiche Kolorit, das von den erdigen Tönen des Landes bis zu den zarten Bläuungen des Horizonts zu einem harmonischen Ganzen verschmolzen scheint.- Schwach braunfleckig, insgesamt in sehr schönem Zustand.
