Das dem Alten Testament der Lübecker Bibel von 1533/34 vorangestellte Titelblatt zeigt Joshua, den Anführer der Israeliten, in der Rüstung eines maximilianischen Ritters. Die Lübecker Bibel war die erste mittelniederdeutsche Ausgabe der Lutherbibel und erschien noch vor der ersten kompletten hochdeutschen Ausgabe. Die 75 Holzschnitt-Illustrationen werden allesamt Erhard Altdorfer zugeschrieben und verraten noch dessen Abkunft von der Donauschule. – Mit zwei hinterlegten Einrissen am rechten und am oberen Rand und einer bräunlichen Verfärbung, ansonsten schön.
