Description
Brillanter, tiefschwarzer und sehr klarer Abdruck mit breitem Rand. Für das Bildnis des Reformators hat sich Altdorfer von Lucas Cranachs Kupferstich aus dem Jahr 1521 anregen lassen. Als Entstehungsdatum wird allgemein das Jahr 1525 angenommen, in welchem sich die reformatorische Bewegung in Regensburg durchgesetzt hatte. Selten. Winzinger zählt noch etwa 35 Abzüge in privater Hand. – In sehr gutem Zustand.
