Vor der ruhigen Horizontale des Bodensees und den beiden Bäumen, die das Blatt vertikal gliedern, entfaltet Dix mit wenigen Strichen die ungestüme Aktivität der vermummten Gestalten, die das Bildformat zu sprengen scheint. – Mit Reißnagellöchlein in den Ecken, verso mit Montageresten am oberen Rand und in den unteren Ecken, sonst schön.
