Rasch und mit kraftvollem Strich notierte Studie, wohl 1833 während Wagners zweiter großer Alpenreise mit dem Natur- und Alpenforscher Adolf Schaubach entstanden (“Arve” ist das alemannische Wort für Zirbelkiefer, “Pinus cembra” der wissenschaftliche Begriff für diesen Baum). – Teils etwas fleckig, verso mit Farbproben, sonst gut.
