Der Schweizer Landschaftszeichner Johann Ludwig Bleuler gab mehrere Folgen kolorierter Ansichten vom Rhein und der Schweiz heraus. Das imposante Motiv des tosenden Rheinfalls bei Schaffhausen hat er mehrfach variiert (vgl. Christie’s, London, Auktion, 21.11.2007, Los 373). – Entlang der Einfassungslinie in schwarzer Tusche beschnitten. Farbfrisch und sehr schön erhalten.
