Äußerst reizvolle Vedute, von Candido farbenfroh und mit anekdotischer Staffage belebt: Mit jedem Abendrot verfärbt sich die neapolitanische Küste in ihr unverwechselbares Leuchten aus Blau-, Rosé- und Violetttönen, und während der Abend seine langen Schatten bereits über das rechte Hafenbecken zu werfen beginnt, erstrahlen die weißen Fronten der Häuser im letzten Gegenlicht der Sonne. – Im Rahmenbereich etwas berieben, sonst gut.
