Provenienz: Bartsch 77 aus der Sammlung des Fürstl. Waldburg-Wolfegg’schen Kupferstichkabinetts, verso mit dem Stempel (Lugt 2542).
Description
Zarter, in manchen Partien leicht auslassender Druck mit kleinem Rändchen bzw. prachtvoller Abzug, noch vor den horizontalen Strichlagen auf dem Wasser, auf Einfassungslinie geschnitten. – Bartsch 77 leicht braunfleckig. Bartsch 145 mit zwei dünnen Stellen im Papier, verso verstärkt, ansonsten gut.
Beiliegt: Monogrammist BSB, Das Urteil des Paris (gegenseitige Kopie nach H.S. Beham). Kupferstich auf Bütten, (1570), ca. 7 : 5,3 cm. Bartsch IX, S. 545 Nr. 1, Nagler, Mon. I, Nr. 2080, Pauli 92 a.
