Description

Diese Arbeit gehört zu den typischen Werken Rohlfs’ aus den 1920er Jahren, in denen sich der Künstler mehr und mehr auf die Darstellung von Blüten konzentrierte und mit kraftvoller Farbigkeit arbeitete. Vor allem das Zusammenspiel der Primärfarben, wie hier Blau und Rot, wird intensitätssteigernd verwendet. – Verso mit Montageresten. Winziger, fachmännisch restaurierter Riss im oberen Rand. Sonst in ausgezeichnetem, farbfrischem Zustand.
