Description
Qualitätvolle, flüssig erfasste Szene, die durch die flackernde Lavierung besonders akzentuiert wird. In Bezug auf Duktus und den verschatteten Vordergrund vergleichbar ist das Blatt mit dem Turmbau zu Babel des Boymans Museum Rotterdam (abgebildet in: Walter Bernt, “Die niederländischen Zeichnungen des 17. Jahrhunderts”, Bd. II, München 1958, Abb. 376). – Verso in der oberen linken Ecke mit einer kleinen Papierhinterlegung. Farbfrisch und von sehr schöner Erhaltung.
Provenienz: Sammlung Richard Tüngel, Ahrensburg, seitdem im Familienbesitz.
