Description
Im weichen Strich der Rötelkreide plastisch modulierte Studie, die Maillols Ringen um die geschlossene, harmonische Form zum Ausdruck bringt. Mit einem Pentiment des linken Arms. – Zwei Reißnagellöchlein in den oberen Ecken sowie zwei kleine Papierbereibungen, ansonsten schön.
Die Authentizität der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde von Olivier Lorquin, Musée Maillol, Paris, bestätigt (Fotoexpertise Nr. 2777, vom 9. März 2010).
