Description
Dem Frühwerk des Künstlers zuzurechnende Arbeiten, die, im spannungsreichen Helldunkelkontrast inszeniert, den Akzent jeweils auf den Zweikampf zweier Berittener im Zentrum der Darstellung legen. Wohl nach einer Vorlage Francesco Simoninis aus dem 17. Jahrhundert entstanden (vgl. Bassenge, Auktion 95, 4.3.2010, Los 6280 und Hampel, Auktion, 17.9.2010, Los 398). – Alt an den Ecken auf Unterlage aufgelegt. Bl. 1 mit einem Braunfleck am oberen Rand und mit einer Bleiweißschwärzung in den Wolken, ansonsten in gutem Zustand.
Beiliegt: Alte Zuschreibung an verschiedene Mitglieder der Künstlerfamilie Kobell. 5 Bll.: Diverse Landschaften (4) und Genreszene. Feder und Pinsel in Braun und Schwarz, z.T. laviert (4). Bis zu ca. 17 : 24 cm. Insgesamt 7 Bll.
