Description
Mit feinem Pinsel naturalistisch erfasstes, oberflächenglattes Tierstück mit detailgenauer Wiedergabe des Stofflichen, insbesondere des Fells der Kaninchen. Haltung und Bewegungen der Tiere sind, ebenso wie ihr furchtsamer Charakter, gekonnt erfasst. Die Szenerie steht stilistisch wie thematisch in der Tradition holländischer Tierbilder des 17. Jahrhunderts. – Alt doubliert. Mit leichter Craquelébildung und einigen kleinen Retuschen.
