Der Stich wird auch als “die römische Kurtisane” bezeichnet, da er die von Vergil verfluchte, römische Kaisertochter in misslicher Lage, nackt, auf einem hohen Sockel auf dem Forum Romanum zeigt. Sie war gezwungen worden, den Bürgern Roms Feuer aus einer Körperöffnung zu geben. – Mit einer Bereibung in der linken unteren Ecke und kleineren Randmängeln, sonst gut.
