Description
Der kleine Ort Medeglia liegt abgeschieden im Tal von Isone im Tessiner Bezirk Bellinzona. Hartmann blickt von einem leicht erhöhten Standpunkt (vielleicht aus einem Fenster) auf die Ortsmitte mit dem Kirchlein, die er in seinem charakteristisch flächigen, leicht abstrahierenden Stil darstellt. Durch den Verzicht auf jegliche Staffage erhält das idyllische Bild einen zeitlosen, meditativen Charakter. – Mit vereinzelten kleinen Bereibungen, sonst gut erhalten.
