Description
Besonders in der Architektur detailliert ausgearbeitete Vedute, entstanden während des ersten Parisaufenthaltes des Künstlers. Gail war Bauschüler in München, bevor er 1820 an die dortige Kunstakademie wechselte; später gehörte er zum Kreis der Deutschrömer. – Mit Nagellöchlein in den Ecken; linke untere Ecke leicht abgeschrägt, sonst gut erhalten.
Provenienz: Sammlung Franz Winzinger, Regensburg, rechts unten mit dem Stempel (Lugt 2600 a).
