Attraktives Werk über Schmetterlinge, ihre Metamorphose und ihre Nahrungspflanzen in großer Farbenpracht. Die vollständige Erstausgabe von 1740 ist äußerst selten. Das Werk erschien 1774 bei Johannes Sluyter in Amsterdam in einer zweiten erweiterten Auflage. – Bll. z.T. im Randbereich leicht stockfleckig. Der Kleisterpapiereinband bestoßen und berieben. Insgesamt von sehr schöner Erhaltung.
