Penguin. Bronze with a blackish brown patina on a marble base. (C. 1914-20). Height (excl. base) c. 23 cm. Signed and stamped with the foundry stamp “H. Noack Berlin” on the right foot.

Gabler 200 c (dort mit geringfügig größeren Maßangaben).
Laut Gabler gibt es keine Güsse zu Lebzeiten Gauls und vermutlich nur wenige Güsse neueren Datums. In der Gießerei Noack befindet sich ein Metall-Modell der gleichen Größe. Diese Plastik steht im Zusammenhang mit dem Pinguinbrunnen in Hamburg, der zwischen 1914 und 1920 entstand. – In sehr gutem Zustand.
