Mit energischem Strich zu Papier gebrachte Landschafts- und Wolkenstudie von fein nuancierter Farbigkeit. Den unteren Bildbereich besetzt, vom Rand angeschnitten, das braun-schwarze Gebilde der Baumkronen. Darüber öffnet sich der Himmel, dessen Blau durch die Kombination mit Gelb in ein atmosphärisches Blaugrün verwandelt ist. Von diesem heben sich in zwei dynamischen Schrägen die vom Sonnenuntergang orange-gelb gefärbten Wolkenfetzen ab. – Kaum merklich fingerfleckig. Sonst in sehr gutem Zustand.
