Description
Der angedeutete Helm und der Brustpanzer weisen die Frauengestalt als Athena aus. Daneben die Detailskizze eines Torsos auf dem selben Blatt. Die vorliegende Zeichnung entstand in Zusammenhang mit dem geplanten Deckengemälde in der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien, für das Feuerbach zwischen 1874 und 1880 mehrere Entwurfsskizzen anfertigte. Mit kleinen Löchlein und rotem Strich in der oberen Bildhälfte. Die Kreide teils minimal verwischt, sonst in gutem Zustand.
Verso mit einem nicht identifizierbaren Sammlerstempel (nicht bei Lugt).
