Description
Lockere, sicher erfasste Studie eines Reiters mit Begleiter und einem zweiten Pferd in hügeliger Landschaft. Während der Schauplatz mit den Pferden und dem Reiter neutral in Braun-und Grüntönen aquarelliert ist, setzt Dillis bei der Kleidung des Begleiters einen blauen Akzent. Rechts über der Gruppe rasch skizzierte Detailstudie desselben Motivs in Bleistift. – Am unteren Rand leicht knitterfaltig. Im Himmelsbereich teilweise minimal fleckig, sonst sehr schön.
Provenienz: Dillis-Nachlass, Sammlung Einsele, verso mit dem Stempel (nicht bei Lugt) und der Nummer “120”.
