Description
Dicht komponierte Arbeit in Schwarz, Weiß und Rot. Durch das Schaben und Spachteln entfaltet der vielschichtige Farbauftrag eine starke Tiefenwirkung und Dynamik. Etwa seit 1954 experimentierte Thieler mit dem Spachtel, eine Methode, die ein extrem schnelles Arbeiten erfordert, da die aufgebrachte Farbmenge schnell erstarrt und eine spätere Bearbeitung oder Korrektur unmöglich macht. Die Spachtelbilder sind als Produkt der Thielerschen Experimente mit Farbe als Material entstanden. – Teilweise mit leichter Craquelébildung, sonst in gutem Zustand.
