Eine der großen und eindrucksvollen Tuschlithographien des Jahres 1949. In einer reichen Skala von Grau- bis Schwarztönen gedruckt. Seitengekehrte Variante zu dem Blatt “Hummer und Fische”, das nur zwei Tage vorher entstanden ist. – Minimal gebräunt und etwas stockfleckig. Kleiner Knick an der linken oberen Ecke. Von gutem Gesamteindruck.
