Description
Grosz bezieht sich hier auf die “Vermählung” zwischen der sozialdemokratischen Politik (Ebert) und der kapitalistischen Industrie (Cuno). Reichspräsident Friedrich Ebert ernannte am 14. November 1922 ohne parlamentarische Absprache oder Wahl den parteilosen Wilhelm Cuno zum Reichskanzler. Dieser präsidiale Akt führte dazu, dass die Linken Ebert als Verräter der sozialdemokratischen Ideen sahen. Diese Ansicht wird hier treffend von Grosz karikiert. – Äußerer Rand minimal gebräunt. Etwas knittrig. Zwei winzige Einrisse im Unterrand. Recto und verso am oberen Rand Montagereste, sonst gut.
