Harmonische braunschwarze Drucke der auf hundert Abzüge begrenzten dritten Auflage. Die berühmte Folge, die hier komplett vorliegt, zeigt Goyas Auseinandersetzung mit dem bewaffneten Konflikt Spaniens mit Frankreich von 1808 bis 1813, der in bürgerkriegsähnliche Zustände überging. Goyas Blätter, die offen die Gräuel anprangern, die Soldaten wie Zivilisten aneinander verübten, durften zu seinen Lebzeiten nicht erscheinen und wurden erstmals 1863 publiziert. – Ohne Titel- oder Textblatt und ohne Originalkassette. Die Blätter leicht gebräunt und schwach stockfleckig, vereinzelt mit kleinen Randmängeln.
