J. ist bekannt als einer der Mitentdecker der oberbayerischen Landschaft für die Malerei, wobei er in der Tradition seines Vaters und damit auch in der Tradition der holländischen Landschaftsmaler des 17. Jahrhunderts steht. – An der oberen Kante leicht nachgedunkelt, vereinzelt leicht stockfleckig. Verso mit Resten von alter Montage, ansonsten gut.
